The Ikenobo Ikebana Society of Boston was founded in 1966 to promote and disseminate the art of ikebana locally. It is recognized by the Ikenobo School of Floral Art in Kyoto, Japan.
Ikenobo is the oldest school of ikebana, the Japanese art of floral design, and was founded in the 15th century by the Buddhist monk Senno.
We hold monthly ikebana workshops September through June, as well as other ikebana-related activities.
