April 16 Workshop: Freestyle :
Learn to create freestyle arrangements using a special type of dianthus (carnation) giving the appearance of moss. Dianthus is now available in a myriad of colors and shapes. They are long-lasting too! Let’s use floral foam to make creative arrangements; Mr. Noda will share how to use the natural floral foam (provided) with a wide-mouth base (suiban type).

April 17 Workshop: Rikka Shofutai:
Modern Rikka Issiki – Learn Rikka Issiki, a modern interpretation of Rikka Shofutai. Using dianthus, we will also learn about variations of Shin positions. Please bring the Rikka curriculum vase.

April 18 Workshop: Rikka Shimputai:
Deepen your understanding of Rikka Shimputai, the relatively new iteration of Rikka. The focus will be to express Shimputai concepts of brightness, sharpness and distinctiveness while creating a relaxed and elegant arrangement
