provided the public with a 90 minute demonstration of 8 types of Ikenobo arrangements: Rikka shofutai, rikka shimputai, Shoka isshuike, shoka nishuike, shoka sanshuike, shoka shimptai and two different jiyukas.

The Ikenobo demonstration was part of the Ikebana International Exhibition at Tower Hill, which also included a demos from the Sogetsu and Ohara schools.

Professor Naotaka Nakamura began his study of Ikenobo Ikebana in 2010, and in 2016, he graduated from the Advanced Course at the Ikenobo Central Institute of Ikebana, Ikenobo Headquarters, Kyoto. He finished Rikka class with Professor Shinobu Akino and Shoka class with Professor Hirotaka Nakamura from 2017 to 2022.

Recently, he is studying the Special Advanced Course in Rikka with Professor Hirotaka Nakamura. He had award Tachibana Prize of Ikenobo Central Institute of Ikebana, Ikenobo Headquaters from 2013 to 2016. Also, he passed the Assistant Instructor exam in 2022 and became Assistant Instructor of Ikebana, Ikenobo Headquarters from April 2023.

In addition to his teaching and study of Ikebana, Professor Nakamura enjoys fishing in his free time. Among many flowers, Professor Nakamura loves Lotus the most. Professor Naotaka Nakamura lives in Fukuoka, Japan, and is 35 years old
